Customer Self Check-in

Important: Please Email  help@garagehive.co.uk  and ask the team to activate the feature.


    In the meantime, search for Customer Notifications using the icon in the top right corner or use the shortcut Alt + Q.
    To update the Booking Reminder, scroll down to Booking Reminder notification and click on it to open it.
    Amend the text for both SMS and Email to include the field tag [SelfCheckInURL]. Include some instructional text for your customers, for example:
IMPORTANT - please follow this link before posting your key in the designated drop-off box and follow the on-screen instructions [SelfCheckInURL].”

    Once this is done, enable the SMS/Email slider to preview the message for a specific customer and vehicle.
    Select the Customer and the Vehicle, and click OK.
    If you are happy with the message, press OK.

Optional Parking Location Feature

To enable the Parking Location feature, follow these steps:
    Search for Service Mgt. Setup GH in the top right corner or use Alt + Q.
    Then scroll down to the Vehicle Parking Location Promoted field and enable it.
    When this feature is enabled, you will see an extra set of fields in the General FastTab at the top of Jobsheets.
    Customers will need to choose a location when using the self-check-in feature.
    Next, search for Vehicle Parking Locations in the search icon at the top right corner.
    Select New to create a Code and Description for each location you want to use the parking feature.
