Adding Optional Tiles and Custom Process Flags in the Role Centre

Garage Hive offers several customisations to tailor the system according to your garage business’s workflow. This includes adding tiles to the Role Centre and creating custom processes within the service document.

Adding Optional Tiles

There are several tiles in Garage Hive that are hidden by default from the Role Centre, which means they are not visible and cannot be used. These tiles are as listed below:
  • Jobsheet Work status Await Parts
  • Jobsheet Work status Await Auth.
  • User Tasks tile
  • Document Attention tile
  • Jobsheet Complete tile
  • Current VI’s tile
To add these tiles in the Role Centre:
    In the top-right corner, choose the search icon, enter Service Mgt. Setup GH, and select the related link.
    There are several settings that may be changed on the page that opens, including the addition of the tiles. To add work status tiles, go to the work status fields and type in the corresponding Status Code, for example, AWAITPARTS for the AWAIT. PARTS tile.
    To add the User Tasks, Document Attention, Jobsheet Complete, and Current VI’s tiles to the Role Centre, simply slide the slider on the right-hand side column of the General FastTab.
    The tiles will be ready for use after you refresh the Role Centre.

Custom Process Flags

Custom Process Flags let you add your own status flags to jobsheets, alongside the ones Garage Hive already provides. Each flag you turn on adds a slider to the jobsheet and a tile to the Role Centre, so your team can mark jobsheets that need attention and see how many are waiting.
Garage Hive gives you four custom process flags. They stay hidden until you give them a name.
To set up a custom process flag:
    In the top-right corner, choose the search icon, enter Service Mgt. Setup GH , and select the related link.
    Find the Custom Process Flag Name 1, 2, 3 or 4 fields.
    Type a name for the flag, for example, Needs Manager Check. This name becomes the label on the jobsheet and on the Role Centre tile.
    Refresh the Role Centre for the tile to appear (you can sign out and sign in again).
    Once a flag has a name, it shows in three places:
  • A slider on the Jobsheet card, under the General FastTab. Turn it on for any jobsheet the flag applies to.
  • The same slider on the Jobsheets list, so you filter for all the jobsheets with the flag.
  • A tile on the Role Centre showing how many jobsheets have that flag turned on. Choose the tile to open the list of those jobsheets.
    To stop using a flag, clear its name in Service Mgt. Setup GH. The slider and tile are hidden again.
