Click to Call

The Click to Call feature allows you to initiate phone calls directly from service documents within the system. By linking your external phone system account, you can click on the phone number to automatically trigger a call or SMS, connecting your extension to the customer's number.

Click to Call Setup

Prerequisites:
To begin the setup, you will need the following:
  • API Key from your phone system provider (eg. HashKey).
  • The user's specific phone Extension number.
Open your HashKey account, select Account, and copy the API Key and the Extension.
Then, set up the user card to use this feature:
    In the top right corner, select the search icon, enter User Management, and select the related link.
    Select the User Card for the relevant user and scroll down to the Phone System Integration FastTab.
    Fill in the following fields:
  • Type: Select your phone system provider from the dropdown list.
  • API Key: Enter the unique API Key provided by your phone system provider.
  • Extension: Enter the user's phone extension number.
    Activate the integration by enabling the Enabled slider to the 'On' position.

How to Make a Call

Once the setup is complete, you can make calls from where a phone number appears in the system.
From a Service Document:
    Open a service document, such as a Jobsheet and locate the phone number you wish to dial (e.g., Mobile Phone No.).
    Click the AssistEdit button (...) next to the phone number field.
    The Call / SMS dialogue box will appear. Select the Call option and click OK.
From the Customer List:
    Navigate to the Customers list page.
    Find the customer you want to call in the list and click directly on the cell containing their Mobile Phone No.
    The Call / SMS dialogue box will appear. Select Call and click OK.
