The Click to Call feature allows you to initiate phone calls directly from service documents within the system. By linking your external phone system account, you can click on the phone number to automatically trigger a call or SMS, connecting your extension to the customer's number.
To begin the setup, you will need the following:
- from your phone system provider (eg. HashKey).
- The user's specific phone number.
Open your account, select , and copy the and the .
Then, set up the user card to use this feature:
In the top right corner, select the search icon, enter , and select the related link.
Select the User Card for the relevant user and scroll down to the FastTab.
Fill in the following fields:
- Select your phone system provider from the dropdown list.
- Enter the unique API Key provided by your phone system provider.
- Enter the user's phone extension number.
Activate the integration by enabling the slider to the 'On' position.
Once the setup is complete, you can make calls from where a phone number appears in the system.
Open a service document, such as a Jobsheet and locate the phone number you wish to dial (e.g., ).
Click the button next to the phone number field.
The dialogue box will appear. Select the option and click .
Navigate to the list page.
Find the customer you want to call in the list and click directly on the cell containing their
