Hashkey (formely Vostel) Integration with Garage Hive Using Oona Web App

Oona Web App is used to call numbers directly from the Garage Hive contact list. So, if you hover your mouse cursor over the contact you want to call, you’ll see the option to call their phone number. You can also open the contact card directly when you receive a call from a contacts saved in Garage Hive.

Oona Web App Setup

The first step is to install and configure the Oona Web App extension for your browser. Follow the instructions provided in the Vostel setup guide using the link below:
Once the Oona Web App is installed, proceed to the next section.

Garage Hive Setup

Important: This setup should be done using a Microsoft 365 admin account. If there is an internal IT department, ask them to do this setup for you.
After setting up the Oona Web App, open your Garage Hive system and follow these steps:
    In the top-right corner, choose the search icon, enter Microsoft Entra Applications, and select the related link.
    On the Microsoft Entra Applications page, click on the Hashkey application Client ID. This opens the Microsoft Entra Application card for Hashkey, click on Grant Access to allow the required permissions from your account.
    You'll be redirected to sign in to your Microsoft account.
    After granting access, you will be returned to Garage Hive. Use the back arrow to go back to the Role Centre.
    In the top-right corner, choose the search icon, enter Phonebook Setup, and select the related link.
    From the Phonebook Setup page, copy the API URL.
    Send an email with the API URL to Vostel support at  support@vostel.co.uk  to complete the setup for you.

How to Use the Integration

    Making Calls
  • Navigate to a Customers List or open a Customer Card.
  • Hover your mouse cursor over a Phone No. or Mobile Phone No. field. An option to call the number via Oona will appear. Click it to initiate the call.
    Receiving Calls
  • When you receive a call from a number saved in your Garage Hive contacts, a notification will appear on your screen.
  • Click the notification to open the caller's Phonebook Contact Card.
    From the Phonebook Contact Card you can:
  • Take payment from the customer.
  • View the schedule for any allocation of the customer.
  • View the customer details from the factbox.
  • Open and edit any service documents for the customer.
