🚀 New Features

  • Added a Deposit Balance field to the Take Deposit and Take Payment wizards, shown above the Customer Balance. It shows the customer's available deposit total, so an advisor can see at a glance whether a deposit has already been taken.
  • Added the ability to set more than one Extended Status Code on a Jobsheet, allowing a job to appear under multiple statuses at the same time, for example, Needs Call and Parts Waiting,  read more.⁠ 
  • Added a supported integration that writes call records from an external telephone system into Garage Hive as Communication Log Entries. Each call is linked to the matching customer or Jobsheet, marked with the system it came from, and the same call submitted twice does not create a duplicate entry.
  • Added extra Custom Process Flag Name 3 and Custom Process Flag Name 4 to Service Mgt. Setup. Naming a flag turns it on and shows it as a slider on the Jobsheet card and Jobsheet list, and as a tile in the Role Centre that filters Jobsheets by that flag,  read more⁠ .

Wrench System Improvements

  • Changed when parts ordered on a Vehicle Inspection (VIE) or Estimate appear in the Items to Return report. They now show only once the VIE or Estimate is completed, the item has a special order reference, and it has been received in — so parts on open inspections and estimates no longer fill the list.
  • Changed checklist completion so a checklist can no longer be set to Completed while a required signature is missing. If a mandatory signature is cancelled, the checklist stays In Progress.
  • Improved checklist performance by no longer rebuilding the on-screen checklist when it is closing, which removes a large amount of unnecessary processing.
  • Improved checklist speed on slower connections. The checklist add-in now saves inputs in batches instead of one at a time, so it no longer lags between clicks. Unsaved inputs are written when you leave the line, move away, or complete the checklist.
  • Hid fields on the Customer Notification card that don’t apply to the selected notification type, so each notification shows only the fields it uses.
