The following is a list of all new Garage Hive features, updates and system improvements:

20th March 2023

Added a Create and Email Purchase Order(s) action within the Jobsheet where a Service Advisor can create and email the Purchase Order to the Vendor.


12th March 2023

  • Introduced a new column: Item Card Unit Price in Purchase Orders. This column is located to the left of the Sales Doc. Unit Price column and displays the value of the unit price field in the item card. Note that this field is not editable.
  • Enabled selection of specific Comments to copy from VIEs or Estimates using the Copy Authorised Lines to Jobsheet feature.
  • Incorporated vehicle Colour into the Extended Description for Vehicle Sales Invoices.


2nd March 2023

  • MOT Data Trends have been added to the Garage Industry Trends website. This comprehensive set of reports analyses 200 million lines of data over three years for:
  • MOT failures by make
  • Item failures by model
  • Data by year, fuel type, and region

20th February 2023

  • MOT History: View refinements include grouping all MOT failures and advisories together, sorted by type.
  • Support Menu: The Role Centre now features a menu providing users with links to:
  • Access the docs site.
  • Send a question directly to the support team.
  • Record an issue via screen record or audio.


6th February 2023

  • Standard Events are now excluded from the schedule’s available hours, allowing users to see the actual time available for booking.
  • Introduced the Begins With filter for Engine Model Codes in Service Package conditions, filtering out certain engine codes that begin with the specified code.  Read more.⁠ 
  • Enabled setting the vehicle’s age service package condition based on the vehicle’s first registration date rather than the production year.  Read more.⁠ 


23rd January 2023

  • Garage Hive now includes the Access PaySuite integration, an online payment service that enhances the payment process's efficiency and speed.
  • Added EV Components in vehicle cards, including EV Type and EV Battery Size.


16th January 2023

  • Added Euro Status to vehicle card and factbox.
  • Enabled automatic blocking of customers who exceed their credit limit.
  • The System Administrator can now manage a user’s Data Permissions in the Manage User card.


11th January 2023

  • Introduced the ability to Get a Standalone Page URL for online booking.  Read more.⁠ 
  • The Standalone Page URL is ideal for businesses without a website to add an Embed HTML tag.
  • Sage Accounting API integration for accounting.  Read more.⁠ 
  • Humm Integration allows customers to buy now and pay later.  Read more⁠ .
  • Direct access to the vehicle’s TPMS/Wheel Nut Torque  Read more⁠  and Service Indicator reset data  Read more⁠  from a service document.
