The following is a list of all new Garage Hive features, updates and system improvements:
24th June 2026
🚀 New Features
- Added a Resource Time Summary to the Jobsheet, showing the hours allocated to each technician against the hours they have spent, plus the remaining hours and an Overspent Hours flag, so front-of-house can see at a glance when a job is running over, read more.
- Added a new way to handle impress stock . Items can be flagged as impress stock on the Item Card , and when you post a Purchase Order that includes those items, a new page lets you choose, per received line, whether to process it as impress stock or as regular stock, read more.
- Added an Additional Information Request flow that lets you send a customer a link to collect documents and details (such as ID and proof of ownership) for SERMI and courtesy car scenarios, without sending them through the full Pre-Check-In process, read more.
- Added Tyre Size F and Tyre Size R fields to the Vehicle FactBox on the Jobsheet , VI Estimate , and Estimate pages. The fields are hidden by default and can be switched on through personalisation.
- Added a prompt when you publish an Online Job Authorisation with no images attached, giving you the option to add the vehicle's default image so the customer sees a relevant photo. The image is copied to the document, so it stays correct even if the vehicle is changed on the job later.
- Added automatic updating of open Jobsheets , Estimates , VIEs , and Checklists when a customer's name or address changes on the Customer Card. The system asks for confirmation before applying the change, and posted documents are left untouched.
- Added storage of the Intro Text entered when publishing an Online Authorisation, so the exact text sent to the customer can be viewed afterwards from the Online Document archived versions.
System Improvements
- Changed card and GarageLink payments so the Amount field is filled automatically with the value returned by the terminal or the online payment, instead of being typed in by hand.
- Changed the standard Users page so it can only be opened by a system administrator, preventing other users from disabling accounts.
- Improved the Service Package Filter so the filter is validated as you enter it, catching mistakes immediately instead of erroring later when the filter is used.

- Added the Power BI part back to Garage Hive Role Centres, read more.
- Added a notification pop-up that warns when another user is already editing a Jobsheet.
- Added the Total Amount to the Posted Jobsheet and the Posted Return Jobsheet cards.
System Improvements
- Updated the Finance Plan to auto-fill the date and deduct deposits, read more .
- Updated the Default Mileage Units setting in Service Mgt. Setup so it applies to all mileage areas.
- Added restrictions to the Vehicle On Site field on Jobsheets when the linked customer is an Online Booking dummy customer, so that a Jobsheet cannot be marked as vehicle onsite for a dummy customer.

New Features
- Added a Web Chat URL field tag
[ChatURL]to Booking Reminders in the Customer Notification Card.
- Added drag-and-drop and multi-select support for Bulk Photo Upload. You can now select and upload multiple images at once from the Linked Media page using the new Upload Pictures action, read more.
- Added an Items to Return tile to the Purchasing section of the Role Centre, next to Items to Order. The cue is available to the Service Advisor, Part Sales Admin, and Service Financial Controller profiles and refreshes every 60 minutes.
System Improvements
- Updated the External Payment Reference to flow through to Deposit Entries and Customer Ledger Entries when payments are made via Online Booking. The reference can be located using the standard Find Entries function.
- Updated the Online Job Authorisation customer email so the button label use the full word "Authorisation" instead of the shorthand "Online Job Auth".
- Changed the behaviour when deleting a Jobsheet so any pending Checklist entries are removed with the Jobsheet, instead of being left behind.

New Features
- Added the Shelf Number column to Jobsheets and Sales Orders lines sub page. The column is hidden by default and can be enabled through personalisation.
- Added a Print Job Card action to the Posted Jobsheet page, matching the action already available on non-posted jobsheets. Copying a posted jobsheet just to print a job card is no longer needed.
- Added the ability to create custom Rich Text body templates for each Customer Notification type. A new Formatted Email slider enables a Formatted Email Text FastTab for editing the body with rich formatting and images, along with a Preview Email Body button. System Improvements
- Made the SERMI and Pre-Check-In features available in Garage Link Essentials . Both were previously restricted to higher Garage Link tiers.
- Renamed the Set Reordering Policy button on the Items to Return worksheet to Set as Non-Returnable, read more.
- Added a Group Items FastTab to the Return Jobsheet page. Grouped items from the original jobsheet are now visible and selectable when processing a partial return.
- Added Phone Number and Email Address fields to the Archived Jobsheet Card and as columns on the Archived Jobsheets list.

- Added a SERMI Required slider to the Jobsheet that, when enabled, integrates SERMI compliance steps into the existing Pre-Check-In workflow, read more .
- Added an Order Tickets tile and a Learn More tile to the Service Advisor Role Centre for The Blend event, read more .
- Added a new Service Technician V2 Role Centre profile designed for workshop-based technicians. The streamlined view removes Purchase Orders, Service Packages, Labours, Posted Documents, and customer phone numbers and addresses, while retaining Customer Name, Comments, Mileage, Key Tags, and Requested Delivery Date for day-to-day workshop use.
- Added sliders to the Self-Service Change Log Setup page for Vehicles, Customers, Items, and Vendors, extending lightweight change tracking beyond Service Documents to cover master data records, read more.
System Improvements
- Updated the MOT Lines Import on Jobsheets to allow users to filter out Advisory lines when importing from an MOT record. When importing MOT history to the Jobsheet, you can now filter specific defect categories rather than importing the entire record at once.
- Enhanced the End of Day Report to exclude Sales Invoices where the customer matches a designated payment provider (e.g. Payment Assist). A new Exclude from End of Day Report slider is now available within the Payment Gateway Card setup. When enabled, the report dynamically filters out Sales Invoices where the customer matches the designated provider, read more.
- Increased the character limit for the Header Text and Footer Text fields in Finance Plan Templates from 250 to 1,000 characters, allowing garages to include longer finance disclosure text without splitting it across multiple lines.
