The following is a list of all new Garage Hive features, updates and system improvements:

23rd September 2024



Rocket New Features

  • Added the option to select the default Primary Vehicle Data Lookup Region in Online Booking.
  • Added access to the What's New page from the Home screen.
  • Copy Comments: Customers can now easily transfer comments from surveys to external review platforms, streamlining the process of completing a survey and leaving a review if positive.


Wrench System Improvements

  • Refinement to GH Entitlements.
  • Refinement to pay by garagelink action.
  • Refinement to NAPA Auto Parts integration.
  • Refinement to Jobsheet work statuses.

Rocket New Features

  • Added an action for technicians to access PartsLink24 directly from their devices.
  • Introduced the ability to import Capital On Tap Bank CSV files.
  • Implemented the Show Jobsheet action in VI Estimate, enabling users to open the linked Jobsheet directly.

  • Speed improvements for publishing online authorisation.
  • Speed improvements for customer notifications.
  • Improved SMS sender ID management.
  • Improved how vehicle model descriptions are shown in the service documents.

  • Increased character limit for Planning and Reminder Notes field to accommodate more detailed entries.
  • Enhanced accountancy integration with the capability to define system-specific number prefixes.

Rocket New Features

  • Integration: Integrated the Isle of Man Vehicle Data Lookup service into the online booking system, enabling the identification of Isle of Man licence plates when customers from the region make an online booking.  read more.⁠ 


Wrench System Improvements

  • Updated the Labour Time Adjustment page for better user clarity. The Hours From column is now named Hours From (Greater Than or Equal To), and the Hours To column is renamed to Hours To (Less Than).
  • Improved the opening of document cards with filters, ensuring they focus on the correct document.
  • Screen recording is now available in South Africa from the Support tile.


16th August 2024

  • Vehicle Identification Number (VIN): Added to the Vehicle Checklist Card.
  • Vehicle Model Description: Included on the Vehicle Sales Order Page, Vehicle Sales Invoice Printout, and Vehicle Sales Order Printout, ensuring all sales documents reflect updated vehicle details.
  • Custom Email Addresses: Enabled setup for each branch, allowing users to send emails from documents or reminders using branch-specific email addresses.  Read more.⁠ 


6th August 2024

  • Introduced TPMS, Service Indicator, and Technical Specifications quick access buttons within the Jobsheets for both Service Advisors and Technicians.
  • Introduced a Vehicle Type filter on Service Packages for online booking, available under the SP Version Conditions.
  • Updated the payment link to make the Show Document button more prominent, encouraging customers to click on it and view their invoice.
  • Enabled the splitting of scheduled standard events into separate allocations when paused and restarted from Easy Clocking, similar to service allocations.
  • Renamed the Ask a Question button in the Role Centre to Get Support, which now provides several options for customers to obtain support when clicked.


23rd July 2024

  • Vehicle Selection: Added the ability to select a vehicle for online booking based on Make, Model, Fuel Type, and Engine Capacity.


12th July 2024

  • Deposit Assignment: Added the ability to assign deposits to different customers. This feature can be used to apply a payment if the document has a different Sell-to and Bill-to customer.
  • Added document printouts to use the model description from the vehicle card to ensure that good quality details are printed.
  • Added Alliance Automotive Group (AAG) integration that enables direct order placement on the AAG 360 website for the required parts from Garage Hive.


1st July 2024

  • Enabled creation of Purchase Orders from estimates and VI estimates, similar to the Jobsheet setup using the Purchase(Special) column.
