Using Extended Status Codes (Tags)

Extended Status Codes, also called tags, let you mark a jobsheet with extra status labels, for example, parts waiting, callback, VIP job, or long hold. They sit alongside the standard work status and cover workflow details that the standard status doesn't.

Assigning Extended Status Codes on a Jobsheet

Open the jobsheet you want to update and find the Extended Statuses field in the promoted area. Click the Extended Statuses field to open a selection page.
The page lists every available code together with its Code (short identifier) and Description (a longer explanation that can include emojis).
Tick each status you want to assign in the selected column. Click Close.
The jobsheet updates and shows every selected code in the Extended Statuses field.
You can also  personalise  the Jobsheet to view the Extended Status Description, which shows the description for each assigned status instead of the short code, including emojis.

Managing Extended Status Codes

In the top-right corner, choose the search icon, enter Extended Statuses, and select the related link.
The Extended Statuses page lists every code with its description, and shows which ones are active and which are blocked.
You can create new extended statuses on this page by selecting the New action.
A code that's already been used on a document can't be deleted. To retire it, tick the Blocked column instead.
Note: Blocked codes no longer appear in the selection dialogue for new documents. If a blocked code was already selected on an existing document, it remains visible there, but clearing its tick removes it from that document.

Filtering Jobsheets by Extended Status Code

    Open the Jobsheets list page.
Select Actions , then Other , and choose Filter Extended Statuses.
Tick one or more status codes in the selected column, then click Close. A document appears in the list if it has one or more of the selected codes.
To see all documents again, select Actions, then Other, and choose Clear Extended Statuses.
Note: The Extended Status field in the standard filter pane only shows which codes are currently filtering the list; you can't set a filter by typing into it directly. Use the Filter Extended Statuses action instead.
