Using the Checklist Faults and Actions Feature

Garage Hive's Checklist Faults and Actions feature helps you track, review, and manage faults and required actions identified during your workshop’s checklist processes. This ensures that all issues marked 'requires attention' during vehicle inspections are clearly documented and assigned for follow-up.
The Checklist Faults & Actions list is found within a checklist. Open the checklist and scroll down to the Faults & Actions FastTab.
To add all checklist lines marked as "Requires Attention", click on the Add Attention Items option in the actions menu. The system will automatically pull in all relevant checklist lines and display them in the list.
In the Fault Description, add details about the issue and in the Action Description, specify the required action. For example, for a non-working brake light, you can state 'The passenger-side brake light has failed' and in the action description, say 'Replace the blown bulb.'
You can then assign a resource in the Resource No. Column.
To print the Faults & Actions list, select Print/Send from the actions bar, followed by Print Faults & Actions.
When you confirm and create a Vehicle Inspection Estimate (VIE) from the checklist, the Faults & Actions are displayed in the VIE for quick reference on issues found and what needs to be done, helping service advisors to review and action on the inspection results.
